The English search engine – Google is still growing

According to the data of the analytical company StatCounter, 88.60% of Internet users used Google in February 2014 to enter a query. Currently, the English search engine – Google, as in most other European countries, is the absolute leader in the British market with Internet search engines.

The English search engine and its research

According to the survey, the second place in the market with English search engines in February of this year, with 6.38% of the total number of queries, was taken by the English search engine – Bing (owned by Microsoft). Microsoft has been trying to push into the search engine market for several years with very limited success. However, Bing, the successor to MSN Live Search, could change that. Search Engine Bing was launched in 2009 with a marketing budget of £60 million, it quickly became a serious rival to Search Engine Google.

The third place with 3.44% belongs to the English search engineYahoo. The share of other search engines in Britain in February 2014 was 1.58%.

For comparison, for example, in the USA, the share of search engines is slightly more balanced compared to Britain: Google – 61%, Yahoo – 17%, Bing – 15%, Ask – 4%, AOL – 2%, other search engines – 1%.

According to experts, this year, in general, when promoting websites in search engines, the importance of using visual content (e.g. photo, video, audio) is increasing, in which case there is an increase in trust in the brand, which ultimately helps the company’s sales growth.

Do not trust unproven “hot water sellers” who have no idea about SEO and use their offers to test their unfair practices in many companies and self-employed people every day. With Partnercis, you are assured of quality services that will help you for your money.”
