The global monthly popularity of the Internet messenger ICQ (owned by Mail.Ru Group) according to the financial report of Mail.Ru as of June 2013 was 12.3 million users, of which 7.9 million were runet users.
In June 2012, the worldwide monthly popularity of ICQ reached 20.5 million people, a decrease of 40% for the year. As for ICQ fans in runet, as of June last year, their popularity reached 10.8 million users, which represents a decrease of 26.9% over the past year.
