What is the share of the Russian Internet in the number of connected users in Europe? Russia took the 1st place among European countries in terms of the number of users who connect to the Internet every month. This is according to a survey conducted by comScore in December 2012 among users over the age of 15.
According to these results, a total of 61.3 million users visit the Russian Internet every month, which is 15% of the total number in Europe. Germany is in second place with 52.4 million users, and the top three is rounded out by France, which has 43 million fans. Russia also leads in the growth of Internet listeners in 2012 (+15%), surpassed only by Italy (+17%).
Russia also ranked among the top three countries with the highest share of mobile web page views in Europe. For example, if in Turkey this share is only 3.8%, then in Russia this indicator is 25.1%. Russia is surpassed only by Great Britain, where this indicator is approximately one-third of the total number of impressions, and then Ireland, where this indicator is equal to 27%.
