Toward the end of the year, a special Internet domain “.deti” should appear in runet, which should protect small users of runet from negative content. The social product counts on users up to 13 years old. Director of the Coordination Center for Domains Andrey Kolesnikov informed about the future informing.ru project on the occasion of the Russian Internet Week RIW-2013.
He further specified that only the most interesting and useful websites will work in the new Internet zone, which, among other things, are completely safe for small runet users. This project is not easy, because only a few people in the country deal with children’s topics everywhere. However, the topic of Internet security is very relevant for Russia as never before, so now is the time to solve this problem.
We add that the Director of the Coordination Center emphasized that the “children’s Internet” will not feature destructive projects aimed at having everything banned and closed. According to him, the new domain will allow Russian children to study peacefully on Runet, and parents will not have to worry about the safety of their children.
